La Llorona. The Weeping Girl. A horrifying apparition, caught between Heaven and Hell, trapped in a horrible destiny sealed by her personal hand. The mere point out of her identify has struck terror world wide for generations. In life, she drowned her youngsters in a jealous rage, throwing herself within the churning river after them as she wept in ache. Now her tears are everlasting. They’re deadly, and people who hear her dying name within the night time are doomed. La Llorona creeps within the shadows and preys on the youngsters, determined to interchange her personal. Because the centuries have handed, her need has grown extra voracious…and her strategies extra terrifying.

In 1970s Los Angeles, La Llorona is stalking the night time—and the youngsters. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mom suspected of kid endangerment, a social employee and her personal small youngsters are quickly drawn into a daunting supernatural realm. Their solely hope to outlive La Llorona’s lethal wrath could also be a disillusioned priest and the mysticism he practices to maintain evil at bay, on the fringes the place worry and religion collide.

Directed by Michael Chaves (Chase Champion) and written by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis of their theatrical debuts, The Curse of La Llorona stars Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, Roman Christou, Linda Cardellini (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Patricia Velasquez (The Mummy), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barbershop: Again in Enterprise) and Raymond Cruz (Higher Name Saul).
